It is my birthday tomorrow (I am turning 28, eek!) and I am in a birthday exchange in both my Icelandic and International stitching groups. The birthday presents have been coming all week and it is so exciting! I have gotten 5 presents so far and more are on their way!
I took pictures of the ones I have gotten so far and decided to share them with you all.
DMC floss, a piece of Linen, Mill Hill beads and DMC needles.
Treasured Spring Sampler kit from Mill Hill and Bluebell Wood – Silk Gauze Embroidery Kit. I have never stitched on Silk Gauze and am very excited to try it out!
4 bobbins of Stranded by the Sea hand dyed floss, a piece of evenweave, a towell and a beautiful butterfly pin that she stitched for me since we don’t have any colorful butterflies here in Iceland.
From Rsa Bjarna:
Tacky Bob, a piece of 32ct Belfast Linen called Peaceful Waters from Silkweaver, a kit from Mill Hill called Winter Chill, 2000 Snowman Ornament “Rejoice” from Homespun Elegance and a skein of Watercolors floss.
From Rsa Tom:
Spot of Summer, Winter, Autumn and Spring from The Drawn Thread, 5 skeins of Weeks Dye Works thread, one skein of Needle Necessities thread, Lakeside Linens – Vintage Pear in 36ct and Precious Metals Opalescent Belfast Linen in 32ct. And look at the cute card with the little duckling that she stitched for me!
I am just stunned by everyones genorosity! I love everything that everyone has sent! I don’t know what I did to deserve all of this!
I will keep posting pictures when more presents arrive! I love it!
