It’s time for an update

I passed my first exam! GO ME! We got the results last week and I was so super happy that I passed AND was above the average grade. Now, 2 more exams to go. One on the 8th and one on the 15th of December. Keep your fingers crossed for me, please.

Now, what have I been knitting? First up, my daughter Sumarrós asked me to make her a sweater for winter. She described what she wanted to me and after browsing Ravelry for a bit and not finding what she wanted, I decided to give it a go to just knit the sweater without the pattern. It is now finished and she uses it all the time.

I wrote down the pattern and am now working on adding more sizes to it. The plan is to release it on Ravelry, hopefully soon next week if everything works out.

Off course I am taking part in Stephen West’s Mystery KAL this year! I am up to date, and the 3rd part was just released this morning. I can’t wait to finish my day at the office and go home and knit! Here is part one completed, I have yet to take a photo of part 2.

I also finished another Stephen West design, Samen. It was a gift for my very dear friend Anna Sigga and a few weeks back I visited her and gave it to her. When I started this shawl I had no idea who it was for. As it grew and the colors came together, she was the only person who popped into my head so it just had to be for her.

And last night I finished these socks for the man. I love this pattern, this is the 3rd (but not the last) pair that I have done from it. It comes in many sizes and is super easy. If you want to knit socks but have been afraid of trying, try this pattern!
