Home Of A Needleworker (Too!) – FINISHED

Yay! I have a new finish 🙂
I really, really enjoyed stitching this pattern. The design is fun and very fitting for me and my needleworker home, the fabric is just gorgeous, the threads are fun and have beautiful color and variation to them and I love the finished result. I started this a while ago (about a month ago or so) but put it down while doing some finishing and knitting and other stuff. I mailed the finishes I was doing to both Tracy and Brenda on Tuesday so I went back to stitching this today and managed to finish it today. I have been sick (yes, again!) with strep throat infection and went home from work with a high fever on Tuesday and was home yesterday and today. I think I am good enough to go to work tomorrow though.

Anyway, here are some pictures. I love the little details all over this pattern. I never really noticed them until I started stitching it.

And another one!

I was so inspired by my finish, that I hurried up and finished the last of the Little Women Thread Packs from LHN. I sure didn’t have much left to stitch on the last one ‘Baking’ but I have been neglecting it like most of my stitching. So I decided to hurry up and get it over with! So now I have all of the designs in the series completed. YAY! Oh, and I decided to make it my new header as well 🙂

Little Women Series

Now I am planning on rewarding myself by starting something new and fresh! That sounds really good in my ears. I am thinking something along silks, linen and Shepherd’s Bush. Stay tuned!

Biscornu exchange from Carla

Yesterday I got a note from the PO that I had not one, but four packages waiting for me to pick them up. Off course I went up there as soon as I could, I used my lunch break at work to pick up my goodies.

1st package contained my SBEBB biscornu exchange from Carla. She made me this beautiful biscornu with Dark Chocolate Belfast Linen and hand dyed thread from Aniza with a freebie design from Tantes Zolder. It is so pretty! I love it! She also included two beautiful charts (Autumn Harvest from JBW and Snow Buddies from Homespun Elegance), Anchor floss, plastic bobbins, candy, ribbons etc. It was a great package! I am sorry I have put all the extra goodies away, so I only have a picture of the great biscornu that she made me.

Second package was a birthday gift from Colleen in NY. She gave me this beautiful 32ct Wichelt linen and floss rings and this little pattern book. Thank you Colleen!

Third package was my first FOTM club with Lakeside Linens and the fourth package was my second FOTM package (June and July). I love love love these fabrics! The colors are amazing!
